Enrichment Programs
At Fernwood, we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities to enrich and complement the students' academic learning.
French
Beginning at the Primary level, weekly French lessons are offered for extended day Primary and Elementary students. Through hands-on lessons, songs, and games, the children learn French vocabulary.
At the Elementary level, students explore conversational and writing skills.
Physical Education
Elementary students participate in regular PE classes. The students develop their gross motor skills, and foster good sportsmanship, through organized games, sports, and skill-building exercises.
Soccer
Step Forward Sports offers after-school soccer classes to our students (ages 3 and up) during the Fall and Spring. These non-competitive classes focus on development of soccer skills, and foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of soccer!
Yoga
Jump Bunch
Brings fitness and fun together through a variety of sports. This energetic program promotes movement, boosts confidence, and influences learning through a variety of sports.
8 Week Fall session runs September 18th-November 6th, 2019.
