Enrollment Process
The first step in the enrollment process is to fill out an inquiry form (see below) through our FACTS Student Information System (FACTS SIS).
School tours are typically scheduled between Tuesday and Thursday mornings, at 10:30 am, dependent on program levels. We ask that you do not bring your children to this initial visit, so as not to disrupt the classroom, as well as to aid in your ability to truly observe the classes. We offer tours in the following schedule:
Enrollment Steps:
Children may be enrolled throughout the school year. Fernwood Montessori School strives to maintain a balance of both age and sex within a classroom. Therefore, children are accepted from the applications on file so as best to maintain this balance. Siblings are given first priority. In the event that there is more than one child who meets the age and sex requirements of the class at a given time, the child whose family first submitted the application will be enrolled.
Fernwood Montessori School welcomes all students and families and does not discriminate in its hiring, admissions practices, or any other form of access, on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, sex, or disability.

Enrollment Steps:
- Submit an inquiry and schedule your tour.
- After a school tour, our admissions team will send you a secure application link through FACTS SIS. Submit your application with $50.00 non-refundable fee.
- Schedule a student visit during the school day. Primary-level applicants will have a one-hour visit in the classroom and elementary-level applicants will have a half-day visit.
- Enrollment contract sent to parents via FACTS SIS.
- Parents submit signed contract by specified date along with a non-refundable $500.00 enrollment fee and $1,200 tuition deposit to secure your child's enrollment.
